The North Face Brand Manifesto/TV Script – Spec Work

Growing up, I wore a North Face coat every winter. To me, it wasn’t just clothing—it was a symbol of adventure, wonder, and bravery. That same spirit is what I wanted to capture in this piece: a reminder of the fearless curiosity we once had. It’s a call to embrace the unknown and never lose that sense of exploration.

As kids, we believed there was no such thing as impossible.

We had no clue where most days would take us—but in a way, that’s what made them special.

What happened?

When did our awe of the unknown give way to fear—and why? Was it the uncertainty that accompanied change, the dread of rejection, or maybe something as trivial as mispronouncing a word? Whatever it was, somewhere along the way, we began to lose our sense of wonder.

“So, what now?”

Well, we’re here to reignite that spark you may have unknowingly put out. What you can’t see may feel scary, but it doesn’t have to—because, with us, you’ll never face it alone.
